Hello my name is Stacy & I have been treated for bacterial vaginosis 3x now in the last 3 months. I believe that it would had been sooner or more if I would immediantly go into see the doc but I am so sick of it. It seems like my symptoms of the beacterial vaginosis doesn’t even go away PERIOD! I do take the meds & I take them as prescribed & I’ve had bacterial vaginosis a few times in my life before this 1 (that just either won’t seem to go away or keeps suddenly recurring) & never had this problem with any of the bacterial vaginosis that I’ve had prior to this 1. I do currently believe that I once again have a bacterial vaginosis… actually… I never have felt like the last 1 ever went away but I am just so tired of going to the doctors for the same o thing especially when I know what’s wrong with me yet I still would have to go wait in a waiting room for about a hour then sit in a room for about a hour then they swab me just to tell me about a hour later what I already know. The last time I went I told my doc that I diagnose myself & I told her that I had a bacterial vaginosis AGAIN if it ever even went away & when she walked in after having the test done she said that my diagnosis was correct. Why is it not going away or staying away? I am a 27yr old female that is in a committed relationship & only have 1 partner & have only had this 1 partner for 4 1/2 years now, I am a very clean person when it comes to my hygiene, I only ever douce 1 time a month which is after my period & the only other problem that I have had in this last year is herniated disk but besides that I am believed to be pretty healthy so what is the problem?
