Bacterial vaginosis during pregnancy?
the doctor called today and said my pap smear came back with bacterial vaginosis. i am 8 weeks pregnant, they said that it is nothing to be concerned about because it is common in pregnant women but i looked it up and a lot of websites say its an std. i am married and have been faithful to my husband. does anyone know anything about this condition? the doctor said it can be treated with antibiotics but i dont like the sounds of it. some websites suggest it is not an std it is just a ph problem just like yeast infections…i just wanna know for sure what exactly this is it is driving me crazy i have never been unfaithful and men cant get this so my husband did not give it to me. thank you
